Proud doesn’t describe being a UNT alumna. I am honored to have graduated from The University of North Texas in Denton, TX. My education led me to complete two internships within the HDFS Department under the non-profit, National Council of Family Relations. I was the first Social Media intern for the NCFR Family Relations Academic Journal. The credited internship granted me my next opportunity as an Editorial Support intern for the Editor’s assistant and editing team of the same academic journal during the Summer of 2021. My time at UNT was an experience of growth, challenge, and self-discovery as I was guided by peers and trusted faculty in my department.
